Authenticated file upload via uploadfile parameter
Published Aug 20, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026
Unrestricted upload in /include/dialog/select_media_post.php in DedeCMS 3 allows remote authenticated users to upload files via uploadfile. Public records identify the endpoint and parameter but do not disclose which validation or authorization check on uploadfile is missing, only that the handler accepts an attacker-supplied file without effective restriction. Exploitation requires low-privileged authenticated network access per the published CVSS vector, and the disclosed impact is unauthorized file write with resulting confidentiality, integrity, and availability exposure.
