Authentication bypass in the Firebase Authentication WordPress plugin before 1.7.1 allows remote attackers to take over WordPress accounts. The plugin accepts an authentication token whose email claim is unverified, matches the claim to a WordPress user, and issues a logged-in session. No prior account or user interaction is required, and a claim matching an administrator email grants administrator access.
