Database query execution via sql parameter
Published Aug 20, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026
SQL injection in /plus/advancedsearch.php in DedeCMS 53_1_UTF8 allows remote attackers to read or modify database data via the sql parameter. Public exploit material for the same endpoint shows that advancedsearch.php accepts a user-controlled sql value and treats attacker-supplied SQL as part of the backend query path instead of constraining it to a fixed search expression or safely parameterizing it. No authentication or user interaction is described in the CVE record, and the published proof-of-concept pattern demonstrates direct extraction of administrative data rather than host-level code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
