Authenticated file disclosure via unchecked download path
Published May 3, 2026 · Updated May 3, 2026
Path traversal in FastBee 1.2.0 and 1.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to read server files through the tool download endpoint. ToolController.download removes the /profile prefix from fileName, concatenates the remainder to the configured profile path, and passes the unchecked result to FileUtils.writeBytes. A low-privileged session can request traversal segments and retrieve files readable by the server process; no write or service-interruption impact is reported.
