Authenticated command execution via oversized Channel parameter
Published May 3, 2026 · Updated May 3, 2026
Stack overflow in Shenzhen Libituo Technology LBT-T300-HW1 1.2.0 through 1.2.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via apply.cgi. The Channel value enters through the web request, is retrieved with nvram_get, and reaches generate_conf_router through the start_lan call path without adequate length validation, overflowing the stack. The published proof of concept uses HTTP Basic administrator credentials and a 512-byte Channel value; successful exploitation grants command execution on the router.
