Privileged command execution via crafted PAPI packets
Published Sep 29, 2026 · Updated Sep 29, 2026
Command injection in HPE Networking Instant On access points 3.4.1.0 and earlier allows attackers to run privileged OS commands via PAPI. The access point CLI processes specially crafted PAPI packet content as command input; the exact vulnerable parsing operation has not been publicly documented. Exploitation requires unauthenticated access from an adjacent network position, and successful commands execute with privileged operating-system rights.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
