Unauthenticated data injection via malformed socket connections
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Improper input handling in HPE Aruba Networking Analytics and Location Engine 5.0.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject data. The affected process mishandles specially crafted input while establishing an incoming socket connection, accepting attacker-controlled data into ALE. No authentication or user interaction is required; the established impact is unauthorized data injection rather than code execution or service interruption.
