Unauthenticated system compromise via elevated file writes
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Arbitrary file write in HPE Aruba Networking Analytics and Location Engine 5.0.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter its file system. The flaw is in the internal administrative component, but HPE has not disclosed which request field or file-handling operation accepts attacker-controlled data. No authentication is required, and writes execute with elevated privileges, allowing full system compromise; no narrower impact has been published.
