Authenticated elevated command execution via crafted web input
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Command injection in HPE Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN Gateways allows remote authenticated users to disrupt appliance service. The web-based management interface accepts specially crafted input, but HPE has not disclosed the affected request, parameter, or command-construction path. Limited-access credentials are required; successful exploitation under additional undisclosed conditions executes elevated commands or causes a denial-of-service condition.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=9.4.0.0 <=9.4.8.2
- Affected versionversion=9.5.0.0 <=9.5.8.1
- Affected versionversion=9.6.0.0 <=9.6.3.1
