Unauthenticated adjacent system crash requiring manual recovery
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026
Denial of service in HPE Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN Gateways allows remote attackers to crash the system from an adjacent network. HPE has not published the affected component, the input that reaches it, or the operation that mishandles that input. No authentication or user interaction is required, but adjacent network access is required; exploitation leaves the gateway unable to reboot without manual intervention and disrupts network operations.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=9.4.0.0 <=9.4.8.2
- Affected versionversion=9.5.0.0 <=9.5.8.1
- Affected versionversion=9.6.0.0 <=9.6.3.1
- Affected versionversion=9.7.0.0 <=9.7.0.0
