CVE-2026-76676

Unauthenticated privileged code execution via stack overflow

Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflows in HPE EdgeConnect SD-WAN Gateways allow remote attackers on an adjacent network to execute privileged code. HPE has not disclosed the affected operating-system component, attacker-controlled input, or operation that overwrites the stack buffer. Exploitation requires unspecified preconditions outside the attacker's control; success grants privileged code execution and complete gateway compromise.
