Directory traversal in TP-Link TL-MR6400 v8 and Archer MR600 v2, v3, and v5 allows remote authenticated users to write unintended files. The file upload handler insufficiently validates user-supplied file information, so crafted path data places an uploaded file outside its intended directory. Access to the affected upload function is required, and writes are limited to files accessible to the service; arbitrary code execution is unproven.
