CVE-2026-76640Public exploit

Root code execution via BLE buffer overflow

Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026

Remote code execution in Unitree Robotics G1 EDU firmware through 1.5.2 allows physically proximate attackers to run commands as root over BLE. The btgatt-server SSID chunk accumulator writes across a fixed BSS buffer, corrupting an adjacent mainloop cleanup function pointer that invokes system() with attacker-controlled data. Exploitation requires BLE proximity but no pairing or credentials, and the dispatched command runs with uid 0.
