CVE-2026-76572Network attack vector

File disclosure via XXE in XSLT

Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026

XXE in PKP Web Application Library 3.3.0-22, 3.4.0-10, and 3.5.0-4 lets remote authenticated users read files via crafted XML. In classes/xslt/XSLTransformer.php, the _transformPHP path enables external entity expansion on attacker-influenced XML, and the fixing commit replaces that behavior with safer parsing flags that block network entity resolution. Reachability requires access to the Manager's import/export toolset; successful exploitation can disclose local files and trigger server-side requests, with no published evidence of code execution or active exploitation.
