Site rollback via nonce-free backup restoration
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in TeamUpdraft UpdraftPlus before 1.26.7 allows remote attackers to restore an existing site backup. The backup-restoration action accepted only the backup's epoch-second timestamp and did not require a request-specific nonce. Exploitation requires a logged-in current administrator to follow a crafted link and prior knowledge of the backup timestamp, reverting the site's database and files to that backup's earlier state.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
