Authenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP deserialization
Published Jun 5, 2026 · Updated Jun 5, 2026
PHP object injection in Admin Columns 7.0.18 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code through crafted post meta. IdsToCollection::get_ids_from_string() passes attacker-controlled metadata to unserialize() without restricting allowed_classes, enabling a bundled POP gadget chain. Contributor-level access is required, and successful exploitation runs arbitrary code as the web server user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
