Subscriber-level payment bypass via zero quantity
Published May 14, 2026 · Updated May 14, 2026
Authorization bypass in ThimPress LearnPress 4.3.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to enroll in paid courses without payment. The REST API passes an unsanitized parameter array to add_to_cart(), where array_merge() lets a supplied quantity of zero replace the hardcoded default. Subscriber-level WordPress access is required; exploitation creates a zero-total order and grants paid-course enrollment without charging a gateway.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
