Model content replacement via concurrent upload race
Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026
Race condition in Splunk AI Toolkit before 6.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to replace model content via concurrent REST uploads. The model-upload path creates a model lookup entry without verifying that the uploaded content belongs to the request creating that entry. Exploitation requires model-upload permission, a same-name upload racing another user's request, and that user's later use of the poisoned lookup.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
