SPL injection in Splunk Enterprise Security before 8.6.1 allows remote authenticated users to access data and alter scheduled-search results. Analyst Queue filter handling inserts unvalidated filter field names into SPL searches. A role containing mc_investigation_read is required, and the resulting access and integrity effects are limited to data and scheduled searches available to the affected user.
