Meeting password disclosure via unmasked action parameter
Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026
Cleartext exposure in Cisco Webex app for Splunk SOAR before 2.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to view meeting passwords. The schedule meeting action declares its password parameter as ordinary data rather than a password, causing Splunk SOAR to render the value unmasked. A user must hold a role permitted to run actions; exposure is limited to the meeting password supplied to that action.
