Password disclosure via unmasked reset parameter
Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026
Information disclosure in Splunk Azure AD Graph app for Splunk SOAR before 2.5.3 allows remote authenticated users to view a password. The reset password action leaves temp_password unmarked as a password, so the interface renders its sensitive value without masking. Access requires a role permitted to run actions, and disclosure is limited to the password supplied to that action.
