Improper authorization in Splunk FireAMP before 2.1.15 allows remote authenticated users to modify file lists via Safe Mode playbooks. The FireAMP connector manifest marks the add listitem action as read-only even though that action writes to file lists, so Splunk SOAR Safe Mode permits an update operation that should be blocked. Exposure requires a role that can edit, create, or run playbooks, and the documented consequence is unauthorized file-list modification rather than broader code execution or data disclosure.
