Session-token disclosure via hidden-value filter matching
Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026
Information disclosure in Splunk SOAR before 8.6.0 allows remote authenticated users to recover session tokens through playbook-run REST filters. The playbook-run REST endpoint lets filters match session-token values that the response itself hides, creating an oracle for token recovery. A valid account is required, and a recovered token exposes all data available to the affected user without granting broader access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
