Database disclosure and integrity loss via unbound name
Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 21, 2026
SQL injection in Splunk SOAR before 8.6.0 allows remote authenticated users with the Automation Engineer role to read and alter database data. The custom-function result lookup interpolates a supplied name into a database query rather than binding it as an SQL value. The Automation Engineer role is required; successful execution exposes relevant database data and compromises its integrity.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
