Improper certificate validation in Splunk SOAR before 8.6.0 allows remote attackers to read or modify CyberArk REST credential-manager traffic. The CyberArk REST client leaves server-certificate verification disabled by default, accepting an untrusted endpoint during vault exchanges. Exploitation requires network-path interception between SOAR and a configured CyberArk REST server and exposes all data carried by that manager.
