CVE-2026-7636Network attack vector

Authenticated draft slider disclosure via capability mapping

Published May 22, 2026 · Updated May 22, 2026

Information disclosure in Soliloquy Lite 2.8.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read draft slider metadata via REST. The custom post type's map_meta_cap configuration fails to enforce status-aware read permissions on REST requests, exposing unpublished URLs, captions, and settings. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; the reported consequence is read-only exposure of administrator- or editor-authored draft content.
