Unauthenticated code execution via spoofed source IP

Authentication bypass in Splunk SOAR before 8.6.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a spoofed source-IP header. The Automation Broker notification endpoint accepts a client-supplied source IP header as proof that the request came from the local system, so forged requests can reach code paths intended only for trusted local originators. Exposure requires network reachability to the notification endpoint, and successful exploitation can run code on the SOAR host with resulting confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact.
