Cross-user data access via SQL injection
Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026
SQL injection in Splunk Enterprise before 10.4.2, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14 allows attackers to read Data Orchestration data via crafted job filters. The Data Orchestration jobs endpoint builds database queries from user-controlled filter values without parameter binding, so attacker-supplied SQL is executed against the sidecar database. Reachability requires an authenticated role below admin or power and use of the Data Orchestration feature; the disclosed impact is confidentiality loss, including other users' jobs and stored connection credentials.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
