Unauthenticated stored XSS via User-Agent row update
Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026
Stored XSS in VeronaLabs SlimStat Analytics 5.4.11 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through the User-Agent header. Storage::updateRow writes an unsanitized replacement user_agent value after redirects or AJAX follow-ups, and inline_help renders it without safe HTML filtering. Execution requires an administrator to enable the disabled-by-default show_complete_user_agent_tooltip setting and a user to view the affected report tooltip.
