Data disclosure via REST API SQL injection

SQL injection in Splunk Enterprise before 10.4.2, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14 allows remote authenticated users to read data via the REST API. The REST API passes caller-supplied filter values into database queries without proper neutralization, so crafted filter text is evaluated as SQL. Exploitation requires a low-privileged account that lacks the admin or power role, and the published vector bounds the impact to confidentiality rather than database modification or service interruption.
