API token disclosure via unchecked outbound destination
Published Oct 7, 2026 · Updated Oct 7, 2026
Splunk Enterprise 10.0, 10.2, and 10.4 allow remote authenticated users to disclose an Observability Cloud API token via an app REST API. The Splunk App for Splunk Observability Cloud insufficiently validates an outbound request destination, letting a caller redirect the token-bearing request to an attacker-controlled host. The caller needs a role with read_o11y_content, a configured token, and an affected 10.0, 10.2, or 10.4 build; Splunk Enterprise 9.4.x is unaffected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
