App-log forgery via unneutralized SignalFlow content
Published Oct 7, 2026 · Updated Oct 7, 2026
Log injection in affected Splunk Enterprise 10.x releases allows remote authenticated users to forge app-log entries through REST requests. Splunk App for Splunk O11y Cloud writes user-supplied SignalFlow content to its app log without neutralizing it, allowing crafted content to appear as separate log entries. Exploitation requires a role with the read_o11y_content capability and the affected app; the affected branches are 10.0 through 10.0.9, 10.2 through 10.2.6, and 10.4 through 10.4.2, while 9.4.x is unaffected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=10.0 <10.0.10
