Merchant credential disclosure via client-side payment form
Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026
Information exposure in Slek Gateway for WooCommerce 1.0 allows remote attackers to obtain merchant API credentials through an order. The wsb_handle_slek_payment_redirect() function places slek_key and slek_secret in a client-side form and includes slek_secret in an IPN URL. Any unauthenticated visitor who can place an order can read the form source before auto-submission and recover credentials usable against the merchant account.
