Improper authorization in Eidetic Labs Stigmem 0.9.0a1 allows remote attackers to read and write node data without authentication. The node startup path accepts STIGMEM_AUTH_REQUIRED=false with a non-loopback bind and assigns anonymous requests broad read, write, and federation capabilities. Exploitation requires an operator-disabled authentication setting and network exposure beyond a loopback-only development environment.
