Arbitrary code execution via malicious file
Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026
Code injection in Adobe Animate 2023 23.0.16 and earlier and 2024 24.0.14 and earlier allows local users to execute arbitrary code. Adobe has not published the affected component or the operation that turns malicious file content into executable code. Exploitation requires a low-privileged attacker to persuade a victim to open a malicious file, after which code runs as the current user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
