Database disclosure via unprepared donation search query
Published May 13, 2026 · Updated May 13, 2026
SQL injection in Charitable 1.8.10.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive database data via donation search. The donation-management list passes the user-controlled s search value into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or parameter preparation, allowing appended SQL syntax. Access requires the edit_others_donations capability in the WordPress administration area, and the reported consequence is database confidentiality loss.
