Unauthorized session issuance via unrestricted realm clients
Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 16, 2026
Authentication bypass in Apache Airflow Keycloak provider before 0.10.0 allows remote authenticated users to obtain Airflow session tokens. The create_client_credentials_token service builds a Keycloak client from caller-supplied identifiers and mints a signed Airflow JWT without restricting the client ID. Exploitation requires valid credentials for another confidential client in the same realm; access is limited to that service account's permissions and authenticated-only endpoints.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
