Session hijacking via tokens in GET queries
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Improper token protection in Ebyte NE2-D11 Firmware FW-9167-0-11 allows remote attackers to hijack authenticated web sessions. The web management interface places authentication tokens in GET query strings, exposing them through client-side session handling for capture and reuse. Access to exposed session information containing a valid token is required; reuse impersonates that user and grants device management access.
