Passphrase disclosure via missing sensitive attribute
Published Oct 14, 2026 · Updated Oct 14, 2026
Dell Terraform Provider for Redfish 1.1.0 through 1.6.1 allows remote authenticated users to read passphrases via Terraform output. The redfish_certificate resource's RedfishSSLCertificateSchema leaves the passphrase attribute unmarked as sensitive, so Terraform does not redact its value. Dell requires high privileges and user interaction; the documented consequence is sensitive-data exposure, not arbitrary code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
