Unauthorized tool execution via registry-wide authorization
Published Oct 15, 2026 · Updated Oct 15, 2026
Authorization bypass in IntentKit 2.6.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to invoke owner-only tools through public agent interfaces. The executor validates tool calls against the full registry instead of the per-request tool set narrowed by ToolBindingMiddleware. Public WEB, API, TWITTER, or TELEGRAM access permits indirect prompt injection or reused-thread history replay to trigger restricted state changes without human approval.
