Arbitrary command execution via annotated assignment bypass
Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
Code injection in IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.11.5 allows attackers to execute operating system commands through custom component source code. The static security scanner resolves an annotated class-body assignment through alias tracking but fails to compare the resolved callable with its dangerous-callable blocklist. Exploitation requires the ability to submit custom component source and reach its runtime path, after which commands run in-process with the Langflow service's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
