Database access via delete_menu SQL injection

Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026

SQL injection in /admin/ajax.php?action=delete_menu in SourceCodester Simple Online Food Ordering System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access database data via id. The delete_menu handler accepts the POST id value and uses it directly in SQL queries without validation or parameter binding, enabling boolean-based and time-based blind injection. The published proof of concept states that no login is required, so exposed deployments can permit unauthorized reading, modification, or deletion of application data.
