Data access via SQL injection in login
Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026
SQL injection in the admin login handler in SourceCodester Simple Online Food Ordering System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or modify data. At /admin/ajax.php?action=login, the login code fails to validate and sanitize the username parameter before using it in an SQL query, so crafted input can alter the query sent to MySQL. Any deployment that exposes that admin AJAX endpoint is attackable without authentication or user interaction, with impact bounded to database confidentiality, integrity, and availability changes rather than server-side code execution.
