CVE-2026-76046Network attack vector

Sandbox escape via ANGLE buffer overflow

Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026

Buffer overflow in ANGLE in Google Chrome before 151.0.7922.169 on Android allows attackers to escape the sandbox via crafted HTML. Google has identified ANGLE as the affected component, but the published advisory does not disclose which code path overruns memory or what operation on page-supplied graphics input triggers the overflow. Exploitation requires a prior renderer compromise, so the flaw is most relevant as a second-stage browser escape that can execute code beyond the renderer sandbox.
