Sensitive data extraction via unprepared search queries
Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
SQL injection in AYS Pro Photo Gallery 6.8.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data through the s parameter. The record_count(), prepare_items(), and get_image_categories() paths pass the insufficiently escaped value into unprepared $wpdb queries executed by get_var() and get_results(). Administrator-level access is required; successful exploitation supports blind or UNION-based extraction of sensitive database information without reported modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
