Privilege escalation via malicious-file script injection

Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026

Reflected XSS in Adobe ColdFusion 2025 Update 12 and 2023 Update 23 and earlier allows attackers to escalate privileges via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected endpoint, parameter, or file format, so the precise operation that reflects the script remains undisclosed.
