Database read and modification via username SQL injection
Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
SQL injection in Code Projects Online Job Portal System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read and modify data via password recovery. ForPass.php concatenates the POST txtUserName value into queries against jobseeker_reg or employer_reg and executes them with mysqli_query without escaping or parameterization. No session is required; crafted requests extract database contents and alter portal data, while error behavior depends on the PHP version.
