SQL injection via keywords and ORDER BY
Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026
SQL injection in CMSJunkie J-BusinessDirectory before 6.2.3 allows remote attackers to read or modify database data via trips search input. The trips search logic concatenates untrusted search keywords into an SQL statement and appends an attacker-controlled ORDER BY clause instead of quoting the term and allowlisting sortable fields. No authentication or user interaction is required on an exposed search endpoint, so internet-reachable Joomla sites can face direct database read, write, or deletion through that feature.
