Subscriber-level post overwrite via unchecked campaign_post authorization
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Authorization bypass in Roxnor FundEngine 1.8.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to modify arbitrary WordPress posts and pages. The campaign_post handler accepts attacker-selected post identifiers, titles, content, and post_author values without verifying post-edit authority. Subscriber-level access and a REST nonce available to any logged-in account are sufficient to overwrite site content and seize post ownership.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
