CVE-2026-75925Network attack vector

Root or SYSTEM command execution via CRLF injection

Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026

CRLF injection in IXON VPN Client before 1.4.7 allows remote attackers to execute commands as root or SYSTEM through its local API. The unauthenticated configuration endpoint writes attacker-controlled values into a file without stripping line endings, letting extra directives reach a privileged subprocess. Exploitation requires user interaction and a client connection; injected directives persist across restarts while normal VPN operation remains unchanged.
